Is Positively Arts a charitable organization?​

​

Yes, Positively Arts has been a 501(c)(3) local Las Vegas nonprofit since October of 2014, with active programs since the summer of 2015. We   provide unparalleled arts programs, training, and classes for children from all backgrounds, regardless of their financial circumstances. Around 70% of the artists we serve are on scholarship or tuition-assistance.

 

Does Positively Arts have a Platinum Seal of Transparency from Guidestar.org?

 

Yes, Positively Arts proudly has several consecutive years of receiving the Platinum Seal of Transparency from Guidestar.org along with several consecutive years of receiving the “Top-Rated Nonprofit” badge from GreatNonprofits.org.

 

Does Positively Arts charge for classes?

​

Positively Arts offers paid camps, classes, and master classes to the general public year-round. If you need financial assistance for any program, simply apply for a scholarship.

Does Positively Arts offer free programs and classes?

​

Yes! We have several FREE programs throughout the year such as: - - - “The Jam” - In partnership with HyperX Arena, Allied Esports, and Daydream Studios where master artists ages 8yrs - 21yrs showcase their talents for a chance to be featured on streaming episodes through Allied Esports’ partners and affiliates. 

​

  • “Get Launched Vegas” - This is our Annual “American Idol-style” youth development program where we guide students through “audition rounds” while helping them develop the life skills needed to navigate this ever-changing world around them. From interview skills to public speaking to branding and marketing, Get Launched Vegas offers free master classes and training throughout this 3-month program every Fall.

  • There are a variety of free master classes announced throughout the year through our newsletter in various specialties such as singing, dancing, audition prep, acting, breakdancing, media creation, and more! Sign up for our newsletter to be notified of future FREE master classes!

  • Positively Arts has a “Virtual Studio” with archived training and resource videos which families can access by joining our mailing list.

 

What ages of kids does Positively Arts serve?

​

  • The youngest artists we serve are 18 months old in our “Parent & Me” classes offered both at Whitney Ranch Rec Center taught by Mrs. DeLee on and our Crafty Dance classes at our Sunset Rd. studio taught by Ms. Jenny. 

  • Our Ivy Dreamers daytime classes range from 3yrs - 5yrs from 8am - 5:30pm.

  • We have Artist Clubhouse & Positively Leaders programs for our homeschooling families Monday - Friday for ages 5yrs - 17yrs.

  • We have several classes for artists 8yrs and up including our media-making classes, musical theater, dance, recording studio, acting, and more!

 

Are your teaching artists background checked?

 

Yes, every staff member within Positively Arts completes a background check every new calendar year.

 

How much are private lessons?

​

Private sessions with our coaches are $70/hour. They are $60/hour if you’re currently enrolled in one of our group classes.

 

Does Positively Arts offer programs for homeschooling families?

 

Yes, our “Artist Clubhouse” program is arts classes for families who choose to homeschool, and offered Tuesday - Thursday from 10am - 2:30pm for Kinder through high school while our “Positively Leaders” program is Monday through Friday from 9am - 3:30pm, and offers a longer day filled with engaging arts in education programming.
